In this post, I will discuss how to rank high for the affiliate product you are promoting.

NicheQ is a Niche Marketing system produced by Wealthy Affiliate membership site which offers the research and supporting resources that unlock and deliver information for specific industries. In general, it would take a single person hundreds of hours to generate a report as elaborate as a single NicheQ and to build all the supporting resources we provide.

This product is scheduled to be launched on this 13 Jan 2009. If you Google the word NicheQ and you can start to see Google Ads and WA members start to promote this product with all kind of techniques they have learned from the WA member sites.

So, let’s tap to the brains of these experts and see what methods they used to rank high in Google.

From the result above, we can see:

#1 position is dominated by NicheQ Offical Site itself.
#2 is a Squidoo lens.
#3 is an advertisement from US Free Ads.
#4 is a WordPress blog by one of the WA members, PotPieGirl.
#5 is a one page new website.
#6 is a one page new Wordpress blog.
#7 is a 12 pages Wordpress blog review site.
#8,#9 and #10 are Social Bookmarking sites.

Note: #2 and #10 are from the same person where he bookmarked his Squidoo len at Folkd.

First glance, you can hardly tell why they are at the first page, so I need some help from analytical software.

I am currently using Webcomp Analyst to research further.

From the Webcomp analysis, you can conclude the first 10 sites have some things in common and in order to rank high for the NicheQ. You have to copy these success websites model first and later improve to outperform them in order to reach the first page of SERP.

The common components of these websites are listed below and you can do the same now to match with your competitors:

1. Secure a domain name with the word NicheQ and create a website (Paid method) or create a blog/ Squidoo lens contains the NicheQ in your URL (Free method).
2. Use NicheQ in your Meta tag, Title, H1 tags and site description. 
2. To have at least 1 page of content. No idea? Refer Niche-q.com and Nicheq.org, the #5 and #6 sites in the list.
3. To have at least 30 backlinks to your site.
4. Post your URL at Bookmarking site like Simpy.com and Folkd.com

The extra things you need to do to in order to outperform your competitors.

1. To have at least 4-6 pages of content.
2. To have at least 50 backlinks. You can achieve this by blog commenting at dofollow sites or quickly submit to directories.
3. To submit your site to at least 4-5 social bookmarking sites.
4. Post an ad at US Free Ads (skip this paid method if you are not on the budget)

I am setting up a new blog (and without spending any money) today to see if I can squeeze into the first page before the product launch date on the 13 January (4 days to go).
