The Results!
Here is the result of this PageRank Quiz: it is a website belongs to Todd Albertson and it is a PR 4 site.

The lessons learned here are:
1. It does not takes tons of backlinks to get to PR 4. It is the quality that counts. It has two links from Yahoo directory.
2. Observed the Anchor Text section, the variety of anchor text (image, domain name, URL) used does not affect the site to continue rank high for the word Todd Albertson. In fact, it looks more natural.
So, our next question is:
"If I acquired the same amount or similar type of backlinks like Todd Albertson, will I be able to get to PR 4 (this blog is currently PR 0)?"

I would put it at PR4, primarily because of PR 5 link. If there are too many outgoing links on that page, I would reduce it to PR3.. but for the ‘contest’ it’s PR 4

Eventually, you will only get 1 PR5 and 1 PR2 backlinks. Remember, PR is referred from page’s PR and not the domain’s PR for commenting PR. I don’t know where is your backlink located. Is it sidewide? I’m guessing it is from blog commenting. If yes, then maybe, it can help you to get PR1 (that is if you don’t violate dofollow rules by selling any links with dofollow attributes).

I don’t know if your blog has a penalty, if it doesn’t than getting PR3/4 shouldn’t be difficult with similar link profile. You already have tonnnes of PR1/0 links pointing to your blog.
